I believe that nations are built twice: first in the imagination of their people, and then in the systems that govern them. My career has been a dedicated pursuit of this dual construction—crafting the narratives that inspire belief and designing the institutions that deliver results.

As the Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Digital Economy in Ekiti State, I have had the privilege of pioneering a new frontier in sub-national governance. From drafting the State Innovation Strategy Blueprint to establishing the Ekiti StartUp Garage and securing an $800,000 partnership with UNDP, my work focuses on building the hard and soft infrastructure required for a digital economy to thrive.

Previously, as Senior Special Assistant on Research & Documentation, I led the design of the Ekiti State 30-year Economic Development Strategy and coordinated the $80m African Development Bank approval for the Ekiti Knowledge Zone. These are not just projects; they are structural interventions designed to outlast political cycles and create generational wealth.

My roots, however, are in storytelling and civic advocacy. As the founder of Bedazzle Media and Beacons Development Foundation, I spent over a decade documenting the African experience and empowering citizens through platforms like the JASI App and the CGMAP project. I understand that policy without a narrative is sterile, and a narrative without policy is impotent.

Whether I am advising on the Ekiti Startup Bill, directing a documentary, or strategizing on national competitiveness, my mission remains singular: to unlock human potential and build a future where African nations are not just surviving, but thriving as global leaders in innovation, culture, and thought.
